La Giara Guesthouse, a typical eolian building within a flourishing vegetation of palm trees, banana-trees, hibiscus and bright colours of bougainvilleas, stands at only 100m from the main beaches and from the harbour, where hydrofoils and ferry-boats dock and from the mud pools for thermal cures (suggested for respiratory tracks, rheumatism, arthroses and dermatological problems). The hotel guesthouse residence La Giara of Vulcano is a first class hotel facility with all comforts, air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, mini bar, safe and room service.
From its scenic terrace, it is possible to admire the striking view of the west bay with stacks, the harbour and looking upwards, the Great Crater with its several colours and the fumaroles on the slopes.
A rich breakfast is served every morning on the terrace on an original sicilian cart of the 19th century.
